LANdecoder32 Alarms

Network alarms warn the network manager of abnormal or potentially problematic network conditions. Alarms are added to a log of user-specified size, or can be written to a file. In addition, the monitor application icon turns red when an alarm occurs. Once reviewed, either all alarms, or selected alarms, can be "acknowledged" so that you are aware of new alarm conditions. User configurable alarm thresholds can be specified by second or minute.

Baselining Feature

LANdecoder32 allows for easy configuration of all alarm thresholds by basing the threshold a defined percentage above the monitored baseline of the network segment. The baseline is maintained by LANdecoder32 from information it receives from the local adapter or RMON agent. You can configure LANdecoder32 to signal an alarm when one of the variables exceeds the percentage you have defined above the baseline.
